2lbs. of chicken(legs and thighs)
3 cloves of garlic
1 large onion
1 can of tomato paste or sauce
1/3 c of olive oil
3 tsp. of salt
1/4 tbsp. of pepper
1 c of water or cooking wine(optional)
1lb. of potatoes
1 packet of Sazon Goya
1 can of green peas(optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Season the chicken with the garlic. Heat up the oil and place the chicken in pot. Fry the chicken until golden. Add the onions and the rest of the seasoning including water (wine) and tomato paste. After it has been simmering for a while (30 minutes), add potatoes and cover pot. Let it cook until the chicken is done and the potatoes are soft. When ready to serve, you can add 1 cup of green peas if desired.

Makes 8 servings. You can serve it with white rice.
