3 cooking apples
1 c water
1 c raisins
1/2 c sugar
1/2 T flour
1/4 t cinnamon
Pastry for 8 inch pan and strip-top
1 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Pare, core and slice apples. Add water and boil 5 minutes; cool. Rinse raisins and drain. Blend sugar with flour and raisins. Mix with apples and pour into pastry lined pie pan; dot with butter and cover with strips of pastry. Bake 45 minutes at 425º.
