1 c. White Sugar
2/3 c. Butter or Margarine
4 tbsp. Milk
Vanilla
1 Egg
1/2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
2/3 tsp. Baking Soda
2 c. Flour
Directions:
Directions:
Filling: 3/4 c. sugar, 1-1/2 tsp. flour stirred into 1 c. raisins and 1 c. boiling water, pinch of salt.
Cook until thick, put 1 tsp. on each cookie, cover with another cookie and bake in moderate oven.
