2 1/2 c. sugar
1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches with juice
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple with juice
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 (9 or 10 oz.) jars maraschino cherries with juice

First day: In gallon jar, put 2 1/2 cups sugar and peaches with juice.
Tenth day: Add 2 1/2 cups sugar and pineapple with juice.
Twentieth Day: Add 2 1/2 cups sugar and maraschino cherries with juice.
Thirtieth Day: Make cakes.
This is enough to make 3 cakes and juice for 6 friends.

Second Part:

2 1/2 c. fruit, well drained (Starter Juice)
2/3 c. oil
1 bx. cake mix (white or yellow)
4 eggs
1 bx. vanilla instant pudding mix
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix above. You should get a stiff batter. Pour into a loaf pan. Bundt pan or angel food pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes. Makes 1 cake.
Cool; sprinkle with Powdered sugar, if desired.
