1 1/2 c. of sugar
1 c. of butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
4 Tbsp. sugar
4 Tbsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl cream the sugar and butter. Beat in egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Gradually add flour mixture to the butter mixture until well mixed. Combine the 4 Tbsp. sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Shape the dough into 1 inch balls and roll each in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 350º.
