Swedish Meatballs Recipe

2 lbs ground beef
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
dash of allspice
I beaten egg
1 cup milk
I minced onion


3 tbsp. oil
3 tbsp. flour
2 cups water
2/3 cup wine
salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Form into small balls.
Fry in hot oil (about 1/2 inch deep)
Drain well.


Blend flour into oil in a pan and slowly add water and wine.
Add salt and pepper and return the meatballs to the pan.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
