Shank or Butt Ham (About 8-10 lbs.)
1 2 lb. package brown sugar

Directions:
Take plastic off ham (both layers). Place in a heavy pan with
smallest side of ham at top. Pour entire 2 lb. bag of brown sugar
on the ham. You don't need to pack it on, it will just dissolve
anyway. Cover with lid. If you don't have a lid that fits, or if the
ham is too big, cover with heavy foil. (It is very important to keep
the ham covered.) Put in oven for about 8 hours at 275 degrees.
