1/3 c. margarine
1/2 c. karo corn syrup
1 lb. conf. sugar
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Stir margarine, corn syrup and 1/2 of the sugar together in saucepan over low heat until bubbly. Stir in the remaining sugar and vanilla. Remove from heat; stir until it holds its shape. Pour into greased pan. Cool to lukewarm. Knead. You can knead in flavorings and food coloring if desired. Form into patties.
