1 tbsp. fresh garlic, minced
3 red chili peppers
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. white vinegar
1/2 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Chop chilies, then mix with the rest of the ingredients, excepting the last two. Bring to boil in saucepan. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Combine cornstarch and water in bowl, then whisk in pan and simmer until thickened. Let cool. If you want, you can add some red food coloring to make it look more store-bought. Great as an eggroll dipping sauce.
