2 c. sugar
1 c. maple syrup
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
nuts, if desired
Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and syrup; stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cook to light crack stage (285*). Slowly pour over beaten egg whites beating constantly with mixer. Beat until mixture holds its shape; add nut if desired. Pour into well buttered pan.
