3 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1/2 t. salt
3 T. cocoa
butter (size of walnut)
3 t. cornstarch (heaping)
1 t. vanilla

Frosting:
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 t. salt
butter (size of nutmeg)
2 t. cornstarch (heaping)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, milk, salt, cocoa, butter and cornstarch. Let this cook exactly 3 minutes from the time it boils all over. Remove from fire and add vanilla, beat and pour into a good-sized buttered pan. Top with a batch of frosting.

Frosting:
Combine sugar, milk, salt, butter and cornstarch. Let this cook 2 minutes at a rolling boil. Remove from fire; beat and pour over fudge.
