2 cups flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup shortening or 1/3 Crisco stick
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 Tablespoon from package of dry Ranch dressing
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, 1 tablespoon of Ranch dressing powder, and salt. Cut up shortening and use pastry blender or fork and a knife to cut shortening in flour. Do this until the texture is like coarse meal. Add cold milk, stir just enough to hold dough together. add grated cheese. Mix well. Turn out on floured dough board or surface. Knead a few times, then cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet or pan with sides. Whatever your preference. Bake at 425º oven for 10-15 minutes or until brown.
