Cornbread
3 cups cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 1/4 teaspoons salt


Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Coat a 10-inch cast iron
skillet or 8-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well then pour batter into prepared baking pan
Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden and a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cut and serve warm, or allow to cool before serving.
