4 medium-sized bananas
1 stick butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup banana liqueur (I used Amaretto instead, and it was great!)
1/2 cup rum
vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut bananas in half lengthwise, then across into thirds or fourths.
2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add brown sugar and stir constantly while cooking 2 minutes.
4. Add bananas to skillet and remove from heat.
5. Stir in liqueur and rum and immediately carefully light the fumes just above the mixture with a long match or lighter. Wait for flames to die.
6. Immediately return skillet to heat and cook 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly to smooth mixture and to cook bananas.
7. Remove from heat and serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
