1 1/2 qt milk
14 c whole wheat flour
4 t salt
2 cakes of yeast
3 T molasses
1 c lukewarm water
3 t fat
sesame seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Scald and cool milk. Add salt, molasses, and fat. Stir in eight cups of flour until smooth. (If using an electric mixer, let it beat the dough until it is stiff.) Dissolve yeast in water for 10 minutes. Add yeast and remaining flour to the first dough.

Knead and let rise until doubled in bulk. Knead again, shape into six loaves, and place into 5" X 9" bread pans. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes or until brown.

Have extra sesame seeds to make designs of fish and crosses on your loaves. The seeds remind us that we must die to ourselves so that Christ may give us new life.
