4 whole cloves
2 cardamom pods
1 cinnamon stick
2 cups water
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Less than 1/8 teaspoon ground, black pepper
3 teaspoons sugar (more or less, to taste)
1 teaspoon black tea
¾ cup milk (more or less, to taste)

Directions:
Slightly crush the whole spices. Put them and all other ingredients, except milk, into a pot or tea kettle and bring to a boil. Simmer 3-5 minutes, then add milk and bring to boil again. Strain into teapot or cups. Serves 2.
