Red Velvet Cake Recipe

2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups cooking oil
1 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vinegar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 bottle red food coloring (5/8 oz.)

1 oz package cream cheese
1 stick margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 box confectioners sugar
1 cup nuts

preheat oven at 350
Combine all in a mixer on medium speed
bake for 30 to 35 minutes in a lightly greased and floured pan

for frosting
cream together everything and blend together, add when the cake is cooled
