Nana’s Spaghetti and Meatballs



Ingredients for meatballs:

1 lb. hamburger
¾ cup bread crumbs
½ cup Parmesan cheese
3 cloves minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
3 eggs
1 T parsley flakes
¼ cup water



Ingredients for spaghetti sauce:

1 minced onion
2 cans tomato paste
6 cans water
2 T. sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 T parsley flakes
1 bay leaf
½ tsp. oregano



Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook onion in olive oil until translucent
2. Add all other ingredients and stir together.
3. Add meatballs
4. Simmer until sauce is thickened and meatballs are cooked through (1-2 hours???)

Mix all ingredients together and form into meatballs. Drop gently into spaghetti sauce, and let simmer until cooked through (1-2 hours???)
