Ingredients:  
3 Table spoons Butter
Olive oil (so butter does not burn)
1 small onion finely chopped
3 - 4 garlic cloves or to taste
1 - 16 oz ground or crushed tomatoes
1 cup of Vodka
Salt to taste
Black pepper
Red pepper
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
Heavy cream
1 lb pasta
** if doubling, do not double vodka

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion and garlic in butter and olive oil,add salt and pepper and red pepper. Cook until translucent. Add vodka and cook until slightly reduced. Add tomatoes bring to low boil, add heavy cream to taste. May need to add more salt, pepper and garlic. Cook 30 minutes. Turn off heat and add Parmesan cheese and stir well....Cheese will settle on bottom and but if you add it too soon.

Don't add sauce to pasta too soon before serving, pasta soaks up sauce and makes it pasty and too thick.
