2 - 3 pkg dry yeast
3 Tbsp sugar
2 1/2 C. warm water 110º
3 Tbsp butter softened
1 Tbsp salt
6 1/2 - 7 C. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Mix in salt and butter. Add liquid to 2 C. flour and mix; add remaining flour 1/2 C. at a time mixing well. Turn onto floured surface and need until soft and elastic.
Lightly oil bowl - coat dough with oil, cover with damp towel and let double in size.
Deflate dough, turn onto floured surface - divide into 2 pieces, form loaves and put into oiled pans. Grease dough and cover with damp cloth again until double in size.
Preheat oven to 425º. Decrease to 375º and bake for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown and has a hollow sound.
