Custard:
3 c. milk
3 T. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
3/4 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 t. vanilla

Frosting:
2 egg whites
1/3 c. sugar
1 square (1 oz.) chocolate, melted

Custard:
Heat milk in double boiler, add cornstarch dissolved in a little milk, egg yolks and sugar. Add salt. Cook until thick, stirring often. Add vanilla, pour into casserole dish. Cover with frosting.

Frosting:
Beat egg whites stiff. Fold in chocolate and sugar. Cover the custard. Bake at 350* just to brown (about 5 - 8 minutes).
