3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
2 cups quick cooking oats
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
1/4 cup molasses
1 cup raisins
1/2 chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees, Cream sugars and shortening together. Add eggs, mix well. Next add remaining ingredients except nuts & raisins. Mix well and add nuts & raisins last. Drop by rounded teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until bottom of cookie is lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack or foil.
