2 c. flour
3 T. Crisco
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and Crisco like pie dough. Add beaten egg and milk, the dough must be stiff. Knead dough until it doesn't stick to board. Roll thin and cut into squares. Drop into boiling broth. (You can add 1 can of Cream of Chicken soup if you prefer.) Turn down heat and cook slow until dumplings are cooked through and broth begins to thicken.
