1/2 c. tapioca
1 t. salt
1 qt. hot water
6 apples, peeled and quartered
1 c. sugar
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook tapioca, salt and hot water in double boiler 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Peel and quarter the apples. Place the apples in a buttered baking dish (9"square). Combine sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon together and pour over the apples. Dot with the butter. Pour tapioca over all. Bake at 350* until apples are soft. Serve with cream.
