1 c sugar
1/3 c butter
1 egg
1 c flour
1 t soda
1 t cinnamon
1 t nutmeg
1/2 c raisins
1 T lemon juice
2 c apples, pealed and chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add egg; beating in well. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add lemon juice. Mixture will be stiff. Stir in raisins and apples. Spoon mixture in greased 9in square pan. Smooth with spatula. Bake 350º for 40-45 minutes. Cut into squares and top with whipped cream.
