1/4 c. Butter
3 Large Yellow Onions-Sliced
1 c. Dry White Wine
3-14 oz. Cans Beef or Chicken Broth
1 t. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 t. Salt
1/2 t. Dried Thyme
1 Loaf French Bread, Sliced and Toasted
4 oz. Shredded Swiss Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a pan. Add onions and cook about 15 minutes. Stir in wine. Combine onion mixture, broth, Worcestershire, salt and thyme in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 4-41/2 hours. Ladle soup in bowl and top with bread slice and cheese.
