Ingredients:  
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. cake flour
2 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 t. maple flovoring
1 c. nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Sift together 3 times, the flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with the milk. Add the flavoring and nuts. Pour into greased layer pans or 9x13 pan. Bake at 350*. Frost with maple flavored frosting and sprinkle with nuts.
