1 pt. boiling coffee
1 lb. salt pork, chopped
1 c. molasses
1 1/2 t. soda (dissolved in a little water)
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 c. sugar
1 lb. seeded raisins, chopped
1 lb. seedless raisins, chopped
1 1/2 lb. citron
1 can cherries
1/4 lb. orange and lemon peel
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 t. cloves
5 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling coffee over salt pork. Cool and add remaining ingredients in order given. Grease 2 large loaf pans, line with brown paper, wax paper and then grease the wax paper. This prevents sides of cake from getting too brown. Bake at 300* for about 1 1/2 hours.
