4 large breast bone in w/skin
1 large onion/ chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 qt sour cream
2 tblsp olive oil or use 1/2 # bacon chopped and fried
salt / pepper to taste
3 tblesp paprika

Use over egg noodles or Oma's Dumplings...see notes

1. put breast in large pot w/garlic and onions...till meat is soft/ pull out and let cool then pull off skin and bone, discard, cut chicken in bite sizes..set aside

2. skim fat from chicken broth, return cut up chicken to pot and add sour cream to cooled broth, add paprika, salt and pepper to taste ...bring to simmer about 10 minutes.

3. server over noodles or make dumplings: Oma's Dumplings (German Spitzels) 2 cups of flour, 1 egg,1/2 cup hot water and 3/4 tsp salt / mix and drop into boiling water...I pinch small pcs..will float when cooked then add to chicken and cook for 10 more minutes
