1 c. flour 1 t. cream of tarter 7 egg whites 1 c. sugar 1 t. vanilla
Sift flour 7 times. Measure again and sift with the cream of tarter; set aside. Beat egg whites to stiff. Add sugar and then fold in flour mixture. Add vanilla. Use tin without greasing and tin should be hot. Bake slowly 45 minutes - very slow at first, then increase heat. Don't open oven for 15 minutes. Invert.
