White part:
5 egg whites
pinch of salt
1/4 t. cream of tarter
1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 c flour
1/2 c. sugar

Yellow part:
5 egg yolks
3 T. cold water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 T. cornstarch
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
White part:
Combine egg whites and salt, beat until light. Add cream of tarter; beat until stiff. Add vanilla. Fold in flour and sugar.

Yellow part:
Beat egg yolks until light. Add cold water and sugar. Beat again. Sift together flour, cornstarch and baking powder; add to first mixture and beat. Add vanilla.

Put first the yellow part and then the white part in a hot angel cake pan. Bake at 350* for about 50 minutes. Invert.
