2 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 can pie filling

Frosting
1/2 c. powdered sugar
Few drops milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Mix milk and melted butter. Mix Bisquick and sugar. Mix milk mixture with Bisquick mixture using a fork until a soft dough is formed. Beat mixture vigorously (about 20 strokes). Turn dough out on a floured surface and knead 8- 10 times. Roll dough out until 1/2 inch thick. Cut out six 3 inch shortcakes (rounds). Dip fingers in flour and press a deep indention (about 2 inches across) in the center of each shortcake.
Fill each indentation with about 2 tablespoons pie filling. Bake about 10 minutes on a greased cookie sheet. Allow to cool. Spread top with frosting, if desired.

Frosting
Mix milk with powdered sugar. Stir until a thick, pourable consistency. Slowly pour frosting over cooled kolaches.
