2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup sugar
1tsp baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter melted

Optional : 1 Cup of your favourite type of berry or fruit, chocolate chips, or cheddar cheese

1. Pre heat oven to 375ºF
2. Grease muffin pans, or use baking cups ( paper liners)
3. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder
4. If you are adding any optional ingredients, mix them in now.
5. In a smaller bowl, beat egg until frothy. Add milk and melted butter. Stir
6. Make a depression in thedry ingredients. Pour in the egg mixture
7. Gently stir until just mixed ( butter might be lumpy)
8. Fill muffin pans 2/3 full
9 If any muffin cups are not filled, add a little water so that the pan will eat evenly

Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown
