3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 can coconut
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and flour and mix well. Add milk slowly, stirring all the time. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture begins to thicken. Add beaten egg yolks, and cook until thick. Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla and coconut. Save a small amount of coconut to sprinkle over the meringue. Pour into pie shell, top with meringue, sprinkle with coconut and brown lightly
