2 cups water
2 tsp. salt
1 cup long-grain rice
1/3 cup butter
1 3/4 cup water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/4 cup slivered almonds
Parsley
Garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 2 cups water and salt to a boil. Add long-grain rice (use Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice original and throw away the seasoning packet). Let stand for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water and drain well. Melt 1/3 cup butter in skillet; add rice and stir until butter is almost absorbed, approx. 5 minutes. Turn into casserole dish, sprinkle with garlic. Add 1 3/4 cups water and bouillon cubes. Bake in a 325º oven for 45 minutes, covered. Remove cover, add parsley and 1/4 cup almonds. Finish baking for 10 minutes.
