1 cup long grain rice
1 (13 oz) can chicken broth
2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup butter
Dash garlic salt
dash monosodium glutamate

Directions:
Directions:
Combine salt and 2 cups water; bring to a boil and pour over rice. Let stand 30 minutes. Rinse rice with cold water; drain well. Melt butter in skillet, add rice and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until butter is almost absorbed, about 5 minutes. Turn into a one quart casserole dish; sprinkle with garlic salt and monosodium glutamate. Pour broth over. Bake covered at 325º for 45 minutes. Fluff with a fork. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes longer.
