1/2 lb. ground beef
2 cups shredded cabbage
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
Dash of pepper
3 cups bisquick baking mix
3/4 cup cold water
3/4 cup shredded american cheese

Directions:
Brown hamburger and drain excess grease. Return hamburger to pan and stir in cabbage, onion, water, salt, caraway and pepper. Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender; about 10 minutes.
Mix biscuit and water till soft dough forms. Beat vigorously 20 strokes. Gently smooth dough into a ball on a floured cloth covered board. Knead 5 times, roll dough out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 4 inch round circles and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Make indentation with fist in each round leaving an edge so it looks like a small bowl. Spoon beef mixture into bowl forms, sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a 400º oven 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Serve with ketchup or a chili sauce.
