1 stick butter
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. almond flavoring
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, eggs, flavoring. (Add green or red food coloring if desired). Mix dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Chill 2-3 hours. Roll and cut out. Bake 350º for 8-12 minutes. (Depending on if you want soft or crisp cookies).

Christmas Cookie Frosting
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup softened butter
2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 tbsp. milk, cream or half and half
Mix powdered sugar and butter. Add in almond flavoring and milk. (Add food coloring if desired) Mix until smooth.
