Peanut Butter Sheet Cake Recipe

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

3/4 cup butter
6 tbsp. buttermilk
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 1/2 cups powered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Preheat the oven to 375. Mix the peanut butter, water and butter in a pan and bring to a boil. Sift the two sugars, flour, salt and soda and stir them into the pot. Then add in the eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir well and pour into a greased or parchment lined cookie sheet pan (jellyroll pan). Bake for 15 minutes.

To mix frosting: in a pan bring the butter, buttermilk and peanut butter to a boil. Take off the stove and stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour over warm cake.
