Meatballs:
1 (13 oz) can evaporated milk
3 lbs. ground beef
2 cups quick oatmeal
2 eggs
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. chili powder
Sauce:
2 cups ketchup
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup onion

Directions:

Mix all meatball ingredients and shape into balls (about the size of a golf ball). Put into two pans (9x13) and (8x8). Mix sauce ingredients well and pour over meatballs. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350º.

Mrs. Carsten uses this sauce with her meatballs: 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp. chili powder and 2 cups ketchup.
