4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup shortening
1 to 1 1/2 cups water
Waxed paper

Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Add water to make dough. Knead 20 times. Rest dough 10 minutes. Make 10 to 12 balls. Roll in flour. Roll out thin to 6 or 7 inches. Fry in skillet dry or with a little oil 30 seconds each side.

If you don't have time for these, fry store bought ones in a little oil to puff and slightly brown. Sprinkle with a little salt. So good for making tacos!
