Ingredients:  
1 1/3 c flour
1/2 t soda
1/4 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/2 c shortening
1 c brown sugar
1 egg 2 squares chocolate
1/2 c sour milk
1 t vanilla
1/2 c nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add salt and vanilla. Cream well. Add egg and chocolate. Beat well Sift dry ingredients together. Add nuts Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes. Frost while warm. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
