Cashew Chicken Recipe

3 chicken breasts, boned, skinned and sliced1/4 thick
1/2 lb pea pods
4 green onions, sliced
1 cup bamboo shoots drained
1 chicken bouillon cube in 1 cup water
1/2 lb mushrooms sliced
1 cup water chestnuts sliced

1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tlb cornstarch
1.2 tsp salt
dash of pepper
1 cup cashews

Cook chicken in oil until it turns white, Add pea pods, mushrooms, and broth. Cover and simmer 2 minutes. Add bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Stir in soy sauce mixture; cook until it thickens. Simmer 1 minute; mix in green onions and cashews. Serve over fried rice or Chinese noodles.
