Carrot Cake Recipe

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 t. soda
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. salt
1 c. oil
4 eggs
3 c. grated carrots

Icing:
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 lb. conf. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
2 t. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and eggs. Beat. Add carrots, mix. Pour into 2 or 3 greased layer pans. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.

Icing:
Mix cream cheese, sugar, margarine and vanilla together. Mix till smooth. Ice between layers, sprinkle with nuts. Ice over all the cake and sprinkle with remaining nuts.
