7 lbs. dill size cucumbers
16 sprigs dill
8 garlic cloves
dried red pepper seeds or flakes
2 Spanish onions
4 cups pickling vinegar
1 1/2 cups pickling salt
8 cups water
dash of alum in each jar

Directions:
Directions:
In each jar add:

2 dill sprigs
1 garlic clove
dash red pepper flakes/seed
slice of onion
dash of alum
fill with cucumbers

Combine salt, water and vinegar. Bring to a boil and pour over cucumbers. Seal jars tightly.

Ready in 6-8 weeks
