1 head lettuce, small
1 cup celery
1 cup onion
1 cup green pepper
salt and pepper
1 pkg. frozen peas
shredded cheese
1/2 lb bacon, fried and crumbled
parmesan cheese
mayonnaise
or Miracle whip with a little sugar mixed in it

Directions:
Directions:
Break head of lettuce into bite size pieces, cover bottom of dish. Layer over lettuce celery, onion, green pepper, sprinkle with salt and pepper.Sprinkle with bacon, parmesan cheese and peas. Frost with mayonnaise.(mix miracle whip and sugar ) sprinkle with shredded cheese. May also add water chestnuts with celery, etc.
or sprinkle with sunflower seeds
