1/2 c. small uncooked pasta shells
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 cans (14 1/2 oz. each) beef broth
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
3 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 16 oz. package frozen vegetables

Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. In large saucepan, cook beef and onion over medium heat; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Drain pasta and add to the pan. Cook 5 minutes longer until heated through.
