1 cup sugar
1/2 white Karo syrup
1 cup raw peanuts
1/2 salt
2 Tablespoons margarine

1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Before starting, butter 2 foil pie tins or a large cookie sheet.
In large glass microwave container with glass handle put in sugar, Karo syrup, and salt. Stir together with wooden spoon and add raw peanuts. Cook in microwave 3 minutes. Add margarine and stir. Cook 3 more minutes and stir. Cook another minute.(some older microwaves may need to add more minutes one at a time) When peanuts start to turn tan, quickly remove from microwave and add vanilla and soda. Quickly pour into buttered pie tins or cookie sheet. When cool put circles from pie tins in zip lock bags. Close bags and break into pieces. You never have to touch the candy this way.
