4 cups Bud Light or Old-Style Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer*
1/4 cup Bavarian mustard
2 Tbsp. ketchup
4 large onions, cut into thick slices while keeping onion intact
12 uncooked Bratwurst
6 hard rolls, halved & well buttered

Directions:
Put beer, mustard, & ketchup into a large, heavy pot. Add one sliced onion to the pot & bring to a boil. Add the bratwurst; simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove the bratwurst; discard the beer. Grill the brats & onions on an oiled rack, 5 to 6-inches from glowing coals, turning once. In about 5 minutes the brats & onion should be cooked through & the brats will have blisters or char marks. Remove from grill. Place 2 brats on each roll. Top with grilled onion & your choice of Bavarian mustard, ketchup, sauerkraut, pickles.
