1/2 lb. ground beef
4 hot dogs, cut in half lengthwise, & then sliced
1-16 oz. can baked beans
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 oz. processed cheese (Velveeta), cubed
1-9 in. unbaked, deep dish pastry shell
4 slices American cheese, each cut into 4 strips

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepan, brown ground beef over medium heat & drain.
To ground beef add hot dogs, beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and cheese cubes; cook & stir until cheese is melted.
Prick pastry shell with a fork numerous times & bake in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.
Fill shell with beef mixture; add American cheese strips to make a lattice topping over pie.
Bake pie an additional 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
